Hayter Lawnmowers
A lawn mower is an electronic device that has one or more revolving blades to cut grass at an even length. Lawn mowers employing a blade that rotates about a vertical axis are known as rotary mowers, while those employing a blade assembly that rotates about a horizontal axis are known as cylinder or reel mowers.
Hayter lawn mowers have long been synonymous with high build quality and good looks. Hayter lawn mowers are one of the premier companies in the lawn mower manufacturing market. They manufacture mowers for both residential and commercial use. The residential mowers are the walks behind models and the commercial ones are tractor mowers that enable a person to ride them and mow.
Hayter has a total of 5 models of ride on cylinder mowers, 3 ride on rotary mowers, 5 pedestrian mowers, 3 Allen Hower mowers (pedestrian but more for professional use) and one tractor drawn mower for professional use again.
Some of the features of a standard Hayter lawn mower are:
- Polymer Deck- A stylish, robust polymer deck makes it easy to maneuver whilst cutting your lawn to a fine striped finish. The rear roller allows the machine to give a striped finish with the ability to cut over the lawn edge. Almost all it’s models feature a finned deck that provides an efficient cutting and collection facility.
- Superior Electric Motor- All models are fitted with powerful electric motors providing excellent cutting performance and grass collection.
- Cut settings- 7 Height of cut settings controlled by single lever from 13 - 60mm make for close cutting of grass. One can set the length required.
- Grass Bag- A fabric grass bag is enclosed with all the mowers which has a hinged flap for easier emptying.
The tractor mowers have the 10hp ride-on garden tractor and 12.5hp tractor and newly launched Heritage models ensuring that there is a garden tractor to suit all larger areas. The 14hp and 17hp machines have rear collection, are light and easy to use. These are the mowers for larger lawns and more professional use.
Hayter now also has the specialized Allen Hower mowers under its blanket after it overtook the company on 19th Jan 2007. These machines can handle grassed areas with banks, which otherwise a conventional mower might not be able to handle.
